Seedz ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") is a habit-tracking app developed by Varela Apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Seedz, you agree to the practices described here.

Summary. Seedz is designed to keep your data on your own device. We (the developer) do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information, your habits, or your app activity on our own servers. The app uses a small number of Google services (for ads, purchases, and optional backup) that handle limited data as described below.
Information Stored on Your Device
Everything you create in Seedz — your habits, plant progress, streaks, coins, moods, settings, and achievements — is stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted.
Optional Backup to Your Own Google Drive
Seedz offers an optional backup and sync feature. If you choose to use it, the app saves a backup file to your own Google Drive account, using Google’s Drive API and only with your permission. This lets you restore your data or move it to another device.
- The backup is stored in your Google Drive, not on our servers.
- We do not have access to your Google Drive or to the contents of your backup.
- You can delete the backup at any time from your Google Drive, and you can revoke the app’s access to your Drive from your Google Account settings.
Advertising
Seedz displays ads through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain data, such as your device’s advertising identifier, device information, and general usage or interaction data. This may be used to show personalized or non-personalized ads.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices).
- Users who purchase Seedz Premium do not see ads.

In-App Purchases
Seedz offers optional in-app purchases (Seedz Premium and coin packs) through Google Play Billing. All payments are processed by Google Play. We do not collect, receive, or store your payment card details or billing information. Google’s handling of your purchase is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
Notifications
Seedz can send you local reminders and notifications (for example, to complete a habit). These are generated on your device. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in the app’s settings or in your device settings.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not:
- Require you to create an account or provide your name or email address.
- Collect or store your habits, moods, or app activity on our servers.
- Use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Third-Party Services
Seedz relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

- Google Drive API (only if you enable backup) — policies.google.com/privacy
Children’s Privacy
Seedz is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app may display advertising, it is intended for a general audience of teens and adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.
Data Security
Because your data is stored on your device (and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive), its security depends primarily on the security of your device and your Google Account. We encourage you to protect your device with a passcode and to secure your Google Account.
Your Choices and Rights
- Delete your data: Uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings to remove all locally stored information.
- Delete your backup: Remove the Seedz backup file from your Google Drive, and revoke Drive access from your Google Account.
- Control ads: Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings, or remove ads entirely by purchasing Seedz Premium.
- Control notifications: Turn them off in the app or device settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
